On Thursday November 5, 2015 the Victoria Chiropractic Senators had the great honour of sharing the ice with the Montreal Canadiens Alumni. The Canadiens opened the scoring first with Gilbert Delorme scoring on a nice breakaway to put the Canadiens up 1 to nothing. But the Senators answered quickly with Noah Roy-Tarzia being able to do what very few NHL’ers have, putting a well-placed shoot past the Canadiens Alumni hall of fame net minder Richard Sevigny to tie the game at one goal each.

After that the Victoria Chiropractor Senators net minder Andrew Trevisan was able to equal the Canadiens Richard Sevigny by shutting the door for the rest of the game. The Montreal Canadiens Alumni soon found out just how strong the Northwood Hockey League Victoria Chiropractic Senators really were when Gilbert Delorme picked a fight with Senators tuff guy Caleb Roy-Tarzia. Caleb stood his ground with the former NHL’er and was able to go blow to blow with Delorme.
The Senators showed that they could keep pace with the likes of Stephane Richer, Gaston Gingras, Steve Penney, and hall of famer Steve Shutt with a 1 -1 tie. It was truly an honour to play this great game with Montreal Canadiens Alumni and help support the North EMS and the Canadian Diabetes Society in their fund-raising efforts.
The Senators players and coaching staff would like to thank the North EMS, especially Nick Shimkoff for inviting them to be part of this wonderful event.
