The Investors Group Leafs came from 2 goals down to knock off the Chase Fitness Predators and claim a spot at the top of the league standings. The Preds scored first as the sniper we warned the third line about scored his 5th of the season. But before that shift was over Jaykwon Wapoose (16) scored his 5th of the season from the blueline. The first period ended in a 1-1 tie.

The Preds big gun scored again early in the second and then a first liner gave them a 3-1 lead a minute and a half later. But ninety seconds after that hard working first liner Ronan Gibson (13) got his first goal of the season. He was chasing down the puck all game long and his efforts paid off.

In the third period the second line contributed a goal after dominating the play the entire game. Lucas Flye (7) scored the game tying goal, his second of the season, with an assist from Liam Gibson (17). Exactly one minute later Jaykwon scored the winner on a breakaway thanks to a nice pass from Pacey Whitehead (43). 

It was a complete team effort as every line got a goal. Jerrell Wapoose (77) had another great game in the net and held off a last second rush by the Preds leading scorer that had us all holding our breath.
