Michelle and Nick Perna are the proud parents of 2 boys. Their oldest has been a player with the Northwood Hockey League for 5 years. Their son really enjoys the relaxed atmosphere and the less competitive nature of the league. His parents and younger brother have been his cheering squad all along.
“One of our favourite memories was two year ago when our son scored the first goal in the game that won his team the senior championship”.
Last season Michelle decided to get more involved in the league and took on the role of Senior Equipment Manager, which she will continue to do for the 2023/24 season. Michelle looks forward to a fun filled season of hockey.
